Uncle 22, a man most will know from “6 Million Ways”, here with some hectic hardcore on the De Underground affiliated Pure NRG label. These guys put out so many tunes in the early 90s on random releases that I think a lot of it has been all but forgotten which is a shame as lots of it was very good.
There were the obvious anthems by people like Cool Hand Flex (Melody Madness, Must Feel etc.) but they’re a bunch of labels well worth investigating if you have the time to do it. I’ll post up some more favourites in the coming months as I regularly have a stack of these in the bag when I’m playing out old skool, particularly ’92 and ’93 sets.
