Bargain Jungle: Subliminal – Feel Like I Do

feel like i doGreat little track here I have never heard anywhere else.
I pilfered it from some big collection I was viewing from a guy in Harlow, Essex who I got in touch with via eBay a few years back. He was one of those rarest of people who either didn’t have a clue of the value of some of his records, or just wanted them to go to a good home. I ended up with some big Good Looking, Deejay and Moving Shadow tracks and never paid more than £3 per vinyl

Anyway, Subliminal was Mark Morris, who was also known as Darkman. Darkman was probably best remembered for the brutal ‘Dis Sound Ruff‘ which eventually found itself onto the essential AWOL: A Way Of Life mix and compilation fronted by Ministry Of Sound. Under these two guises Morris released a few singles on L-Double‘s Flex Records as well as a couple more on sister labels Little Rollers and Rinse Out.

Feel Like I Do certainly is a nice ‘Little Roller’. Mashed up amens and an ethereal vocal that yearn ‘I want you to feel like I do’ make this a track worth raiding the penny jar for. The flip side Bad Man ain’t too shabby either.

It’s dirt cheap too. Grab this 10 inch from discogs for as little as £2.00 right now.
