I think its the law now, I have a vague memory of reading about it somewhere. You arnt allowed to give away free trinkets with your single like posters etc and no more than I think 3 tracks, including the main track, otherwise its not considered a chartable single as your bribing the public and influencing the chart somehow with promotional ‘gimics’ like value for money lol. They would rather leave chart fixing to those with serious money I guess, keep out these random dance acts who manage to chart with 7/8 track eps :oD.

In reply to lala. Yeah, I havent bought a CD single in years and years but I imagine you get about 2 or 3 tracks now, not like then when you got so many different mixes.

jamiroquai were serious back in the day, the first 2 albums had some of the finest bass and drum grooves Ive ever heard, esp the second, its just funk pattern heaven without ever being indulgent at the sake of the song.

I got the cd single of this somewhere, back in the days when you used to get like 7 mixes on a single lol, it was a nice tune.
