Dominic Angus, along with his trusty Roland S760, has been one of Drum & Bass’ key figures since his debut in 1994. Starting out on No U-Turn sister label Saigon he quickly established himself as an artist to watch constructing dark and lively tracks as jungle leaped into the dark, futuristic ‘Tech Step’ era.

It wasn’t long before he found a home with one of the biggest labels of the time, Moving Shadow. Since then he has gone on to release several full length albums with Shadow right up until around the time the label ended, with his last LP for the label coming in the form of 2004s Chronology.

In 2014 Dom is still one of D&Bs biggest names with consistent releases on his own Dom & Roland Productions imprint, as well as being responsible for one of the biggest double A-sides in 2013 on Goldie’s ‘Metalheadz’ label with the ferocious Unofficial Jah / Outta Endz.

This mix by Vetoe takes you though a huge chunk of his work from 1995 up until 1998, including aliases such as Mr Monik and collaboration product called Current Affairs with a certain DJ Monita.
