When we used to run RollDaBeats nights the DJs (well, not the headliners ;-)) would play all across the board, which was awesome.

good point about the ruff vs smooth too Haste – i would love to go to an old school night and hear a set that sounds like what I heard DJs actually play back in ’94, which usually contained a lot more atmospheric, weird stuff in with the mentalism.
